  • Get ready for a Sports for Champions prepaid event. With a mere 2 weeks notice, you can lock in a date tailored to your school's needs. A half-day session is perfectly suited for up to 600 pupils. For schools with more than 600 students, a full-day option is available. Either way, your students will experience an unforgettable, inspiring day.

There are two options for prepaid events: a half-day event, which can be either 9am–12pm or 1pm–3pm, or a full-day event from 9am–3pm.

Once the event is booked, payment is expected within 30 days of the invoice being issued. If the event is booked within 30 days of the event date, payment must be made within 72 hours.

The event itself follows the same format as the fundraiser event, with an athlete presentation and a four-stage fitness circuit.

Once the event is confirmed an invoice will be issued to the school to be paid within 30 days. If the event is booked within 30 days then payment will need to be within 24 hours.

A risk assessment will be carried out by the athlete on the day of the event before any activities take place.

We encourage all pupils to get involved at the school.

There are many advantages of a Sports for Champions fundraiser event. There is no direct cost to the school as we employ a successful Crowdfunding model. Pupils will be asked to gain sponsorship using resources and a digital Crowdfunder donation page provided by Sports For Champions. Our media team will also contact local businesses and the local press to build excitement and gain sponsorship. The target will be set at X per pupil, the overall cost will be (X number of pupils participating). A fundraising event has to be booked 5 weeks in advance to give your school time to raise funds. Each event is tailored to your school size, for up to 600 pupils it will be a half day from 9-12/ 1-3. This will change to a full-day session if your group exceeds this number.

Pupils will fundraise leading up to the event to raise money for the school, athletes, and local communities. They will be sponsored to complete a 4-stage fitness circuit led by a Team GB athlete on the day of the event.

There will be no fee charged as long as a few simple steps are followed. Outlined in the contract there are set days in which these steps need to be completed.

Firstly Sponsor forms must be handed out and the instructional DVD needs to be played.

Secondly the school needs to support the fundraising through may different ways. There will be posters to display, there can be posts on social media, posts within newsletters or messages sent out to parents as examples. If this is followed and communication is kept throughout the build-up to the event, then no fees will occur.

If a pupil does not raise any money, they are still to fully take part in the event. They will still receive the same experience as every other child and receive a sticker for taking part.

Payment will be arranged for collection or transfer on the day of the event. An invoice will be sent identifying how much funds should be sent and how much of the funds will stay with the school. If the funds are raised on Crowdfunder and surpass the admin fee then a check will be issued to the schools within 30 days post event.

Each school is set an admin fee based on number of pupils on roll. All money raised up to the admin fee will go to Sports for Champions.

Any money raised above this fee will be split. 60% will go to the school and 40% goes to Sports for Champions to an athlete and Community fund.

A risk assessment will be carried out by the athlete on the day of the event before any activities take place.

We encourage all pupils to get involved at the school.

One fully trained elite athlete coach will attend the event.

If your preferred athlete can’t make the event then we will do our best to send an elite athlete coach with the same sporting discipline.

We have wide variety of female athletes

All our athletes hold enhanced child workforce DBS certificates and will come with it and will attend with the certificate number and photo ID.

We run 100’s of events per year and as part of securing your priority date we ask that you agree to our terms with a signature.
